SATURDAY – SMK Matang Jaya suffered a huge loss last Saturday when Mr Roslan Putit passed away at his residence in Matang Jaya at about 2am. Fondly known as ‘Tan Sri’ among his friends and colleague, the late Mr Roslan was indeed a good example to many young teachers as he mixed around with everybody regardless of their background and was always cheerful regardless of any situation. Students alike found a father figure in him as he not only taught them well, but also always provided them with moral support when needed.
Staff and students of SMK Matang Jaya came together in unison last Saturday morning to pay their last respects to the late Mr Roslan which is also one of the most respected and beloved teachers in SMK Matang Jaya. SMK Matang Jaya would like to convey our deepest condolences to the family members of the late Mr Roslan Putit. He will indeed by missed by many, and he will remain close to our hearts for years to come. Thank you Cikgu.
